ASSP has updated all governing documents to reflect this change, including the model chapter bylaws. Per the chapter affiliation agreement, chapters are required to maintain bylaws that are aligned with the model chapter bylaws. Chapter members will need to vote to amend our chapter’s bylaws to bring them into alignment with these updates. Please watch your inbox for an email to review the redline copy of our chapter’s bylaws with the proposed amendments and an e-ballot to vote on these changes.Public meetings for ADOT Safety Plan Update The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is updating its Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) and Active Transportation Safety Action Plan (ASTP). These comprehensive statewide plans will identify strategies for reducing fatalities and serious injuries by 20% for all users, whether driving, biking or walking. Read More → Call for Speakers!!! The Slate was approved by the Nominating Committee on February 29th, 2024. This Slate has been developed for the election of Chapter Officers for the 2024 – 2025 Chapter Year. Per the by-laws, an election of this slate of candidates can happen after the slate has been announced to members for a minimum of 30 days. All members will also receive an email with a link to review this slate of candidates. The election of the slate of candidates will be sent out as an electronic vote on April 8th, 2024.
